Our Surprising and Natural Makeup Remover

 

Did you have a hard time removing stubborn Halloween makeup this week? I didn’t, and I dressed up as a scarecrow, which somehow included surprising amounts of waterproof eyeliner.

Our cold process soaps are mild, hydrating, cleansing, eco friendly, free of surfactants, parabens, phtalates, alcohol and so much more, but what you probably didn’t know is that they are great makeup removers as well! We’ve had success removing matte and regular lipstick, waterproof mascara, foundation, stubborn eye shadow, eyelash glue (and more) using our soaps.

How to remove your makeup using our soaps

1. Lather up the soap bar in your hands with some water.
2. Put the soap in a draining soap dish to make sure it lasts and lasts!
3. Apply the foam to your face and rub it carefully in to loosen up the makeup. PS: Keep your eyes completely closed. Soaps made from scratch pack quite the sting in contact with eyes.
4. Wash away with water.
5. Pat the skin dry with a fresh towel.
6. Apply your moisturizer.
